One copper electroformed rare snakeskin agate serpent complete on an 18” soldered antique copper chain.

This material is from madura island, indonesia. Although it looks like snakeskin, it's actually fossilized palate of ancient wrasse.

Wrasse are a family of brightly colored marine fish.
