Author Gabriela Jurosz-Landa is an anthropologist and Maya shaman-priestess: in Transcendent Wisdom of the Maya she shares her first hand knowledge of ancient Maya spiritual practices. Delving into practical matters such as the initiation process, rituals, prayers, and ceremonies, Jurosz-Landa also explains the foundations of Mayan spirituality. She dismisses misconceptions and reveals the Maya calendar as a living entity, its cycles of time, and the significance of “the counting of the days,” which helps keep time itself alive.

What is your return policy?

Items in new condition may be returned for refund or store credit up to 30 days from purchase, with receipt and original method of payment. If item is defective or broken upon arrival, please contact us for a replacement or refund at hello@theninthhouseshop.com. For health and safety reasons, all earrings are final sale, no returns permitted.

Workshop and event tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the scheduled event time. If you are unable to make an event, please email us at hello@theninthhouseshop.com. If there is a waitlist, we may be able to transfer the spot to them with at least 48 hours notice and offer you a refund. You are also able to sell or gift your workshop or event ticket to someone else, but please let us know so we know who to expect!
