A quick turn of the wrist brings this compact drum to life. Two corded wooden beads strike the drumhead as the handle twists, creating a lively, rhythmic sound that can be played slowly and steadily or quickly for a brighter, more energetic beat.

This handheld percussion instrument is simple to use and easy to incorporate into ritual, movement, music, meditation classes, children’s activities, or playful sound exploration. Its lightweight design makes it comfortable to hold, while the natural wood handle and neutral drumhead give it a clean, traditional-inspired appearance.

Rhythm Through Movement

Hold the wooden handle upright and gently rotate your wrist from side to side. The attached strikers will alternate against the drumhead, allowing you to control the rhythm through the speed and size of your movement.

Items in new condition may be returned for refund or store credit up to 30 days from purchase, with receipt and original method of payment. For health and safety reasons, all earrings are final sale, no returns permitted.

Workshop and event tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the scheduled event time. If you are unable to make an event, please email us at hello@theninthhouseshop.com. If there is a waitlist, we may be able to transfer the spot to them with at least 48 hours notice and offer you a refund. You are also able to sell or gift your workshop or event ticket to someone else, but please let us know so we know who to expect!
